Hailing from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Grits & Greens is a psychedelic y'alt-rock band writing songs about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Blending the Southern grit of The Allman Brothers, the progressive edge of Rush, the energy of Paramore, the soulful vocals of Lake Street Dive, the atmospheric soundscapes of Pink Floyd, the funk of Little Feat, the emotion of Kings of Leon, and the soaring harmonies of Fleetwood Mac, Grits & Greens has created a sound that's uniquely their own.
Known for their infectious energy and dynamic live performances, the band takes audiences on a musical journey with tight grooves, catchy melodies, heartfelt storytelling, and an engaging stage presence. Their songs explore life's struggles, the joys and pains of growing up, and the realities of social injustice with authenticity and heart.
